Tonsure Becomes Costly at Bhadrachalam Temple. At Rama temple of Bhadrachlam, which is aptly known as Southern Ayodhya, the devotees have been stripped off unswervingly by the barbers.
Khammam: At Rama temple of Bhadrachlam, which is aptly known as Southern Ayodhya, the devotees have been stripped off unswervingly by the barbers. The barbers have been reportedly demanding Rs 50 - 100 for each tonsure, apart from the ticket money of Rs 10. Nevertheless, the authorities have been keeping their eyes closed on this topic. Due to this, the devotees have been facing lot many exertions.

The temple has become overcrowded with the devotees who were on Hanuman Deeksha. The team of barber allegedly taking anti-advantage of this occasion and have been demanding the said amount for each head shave. As there is no other option left, the devotees have to pay the demanded amount to the barbers.
As many as 10,000 devotees reached the temple in last two days. According to these statistics, the barbers might have earned a huge sum during the season. The devotees are dissent over this matter and demanding for an immediate action against the barbers.
