He further said that Vijayawada-Guntur will be developed in a similar way to that of Hyderabad-Secunderabad as the twin cities of Seemandhra.

Further, he said that as many as 100 new smart cities would be established in the entire country. He said 43% of the total population of urban areas live in the metro cities, and the population of the cities has been increasing day by day. He said that the figure may touch 50% by the end of 2015. He said that he would ensure better travelling resources in the urban areas.
Further, Venkaiah Naidu said that there were 7,935 cities in the country. He proclaimed that by end of 2020, concrete houses will be built for the people of the entire nation. He said that the Class-I cities in the country have been increased from 394 to 468 in the last five years. He said that they would go for the Satellite Townships in the country.
