CPI Narayana: All types of crop loans to be waivered

Hyderabad: Narayana, a CPI Central Committee Member, on Thursday demanded that all types of loan born by the farmers should be waivered off by TRS Party. He addressed the media and said that KCR who previously promised that all crop loans would be waivered off, should implement the same, bowing to his words to the farmers.

From the other end, Pocharam Sirinivas Reddy, the Agriculture Minister in the state cabinet of Telangana, on Thursday said that they have not arrived at a conclusion regarding the time limit for the waiver of crop loans to the framers. He said it was only from the bankers that the information was sought. Pocharam said that they would ensure that there would not be any problem posed to the farmers as far as the seeds and pesticides procurement was concerned. He further said that the TRS government would ensure that the farmers would not face any difficulties for the same. He said that they would provide continuous power supply for 8 hours for the entire Kharif season. Further, he said that for the uninterrupted Power Supply for 24 hours, they need at least 3 years time.
