Hyderabad: Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, the Minister for Assembly affairs of Andhra Pradesh state, on Tuesday said that strong security has been beefed up for the assembly session to be commenced on Thursday. He carried out a review of the security measures at AP state Assembly on Tuesday; and later he addressed the media. He said that the AP State assembly was a smaller one.

Further, Yanamala said that for this very reason they were not in a position to give permissions to the visitors. He said that all the MLAs and ministers have already been briefed to not seek the visitor passes. Also, said Yanamala that the Media gallery was very small as compared with others. So, said Yanamala that only a few number of media representatives would be allowed during the assembly session. He said that there was a need for a new media point for Andhra Pradesh state assembly. He informed that Gate No 2 will be used by Andhra Pradesh legislatives.
