A Hint On Andhra Pradesh’s New Capital. The Urban Development Minister of Andhra Pradesh state Narayana said that the area between Guntur and Vijayawada is having maximum chances for setting up the new capital city of residuary Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad: The Urban Development Minister of Andhra Pradesh state Narayana said that the area between Guntur and Vijayawada is having maximum chances for setting up the new capital city of residuary Andhra Pradesh. He said that it was the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s desire to turn the capital city into a world class city, while making a mention that Naidu has done a grand designing for the same.

Further, Narayana said that they would visit Singapore shortly for pursuing necessary details. He said that the Singapore administration has already come forward to extend their support in establishing the capital city, in all possible ways. An estimated expenditure of Rs 94cr would require for a normal range capital city; nevertheless, said Narayana that the estimated expenditure would be more than RS 1.5 lakh crore, if the same needs to be a world class city. Narayana also said that they have been planning for an Outer ring Road with a circumference of 184km.
