He urged the BJP-led NDA to honour the commitments made by the Congress when it gave a go ahead for the state bifurcation.
The Rajya Sabha member also sought special development package for bacjward areas in AP similar to what exists for MP, UP and Odisha.
TSR demanded that Polavaram project be declared a national project and be completed at the earliest.
TSR sought assurance from the Modi government on sanctioning enough funds for the development of state.
