Capital will be built in Guntur dist: Pulla Rao
The Andhra Pradesh State capital will be built in Guntur district with the people’s cooperation, as directed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, said Minister P Pulla Rao, in Chilakaluripet of Guntur district, on Thursday.

The Minister was speaking to the media after participating in the ‘Janmabhoomi’ and ‘Maa Vooru’ programmes. He appealed farmers to cooperate with the government in the construction of the capital.
Rao objected to the criticism of Naidu by YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, describing it as out of jealousy, as the CM was taking the State on the path of development. He presented a cheque for Rs.56 lakh to a local self-help group (SHG).
Film actor Jayaprakash Reddy praised the Janmabhoomi and ‘Maa Vooru’ programmes.
