Hudhud Relief: More celebs follow suit

While AP Chief Minister is still figuring out the total loss incurred due to the devastation, our celebs have stepped forward to help the cyclone-hit and the government. A day after eminent faces like Krishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Ram Charan, Prabhas and Allu Arjun contributed a large sum, totalling to over Rs 1 crore to CM Relief Fund, other stalwarts like Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh followed suit on Wednesday.

Hindupur MLA and superstar Balakrishna announced Rs 30 lakh to the CM Relief Fund besides donating 20 tons of rice and medicines to the victims. Dr D Ramanaidu family donated a sum of Rs 50 lakh while Nagarjuna, on behalf of Akkineni International Foundation, donated Rs 20 lakh to the CM Relief Fund. Other top heroes Ravi Teja, Kalyan Ram and Nithiin donated Rs 10 lakh each.
Ace producer Sai Korrapati donated 100 tons of rice and assured the cyclone-hit that he would be around whenever they needed him. Heroine Samantha, on behalf of her NGO Pratyusha Foundation, announced Rs 10 lakh; while director Trivikram donated Rs 10 lakh.
Cutting across other film industries, actors Suriya and Vishal too donated a good sum to the CM Relief Fund. The family of Suriya announced a contribution of Rs 50 lakh. While Suriya alone parted Rs 25 lakh, his brother Karthi and in-house producer Gnanavel Raja donated Rs 12.5 lakh each. Telugu-born Vishal has contributed Rs 15 lakh.
