Robbery on Shirdi-Hyderabad Express

The passengers travelling by a Hyderabad-bound express train from Shirdi were in for a nightmarish experience as thieves got into the train and robbed the passengers of cash and valuables.

According to reports, the thieves entered sleeper coaches S 3 and S 6. After they looted the passengers and before the latter could alert the police, the robbers pulled a chain and fled the spot.

A complaint has been lodged with the Railway police. However, passengers are fuming at the lack of security for those travelling by train.
