APTDC to Resume AC Boat Service to Papikondalu. The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is resuming its 70-seat air-conditioned boat from Pattiseema in West Godavari to Papikondalu in Khammam district with effect from October 30, according to G Ramakrishna, APTDC Divisional Manager.

While speaking to the media in Kakinada on Tuesday, he said the air-conditioned boat, named after Sir Arthur Cotton, was withdrawn some time ago due to technical reasons. Tourists from Rajahmundry would be provided transport from Rajahmundry to Pattiseema.
The APTDC has fixed fare at Rs 650 per adult and Rs 550 per child, he added.
He said the APTDC was also planning to organise Vana Bhojanam in connection with the Karteeka Masam and cultural programmes like Harikatha at Vakalapudi on November 2 and at Dindi resorts on November 9 and at Dwaraka Tirumala in West Godavari district on November 16. T.Baboji, Divisional Manager, M Francis, DPRO, Venkatachalam, District Tourism officer, were present.
