Good news for the farmers!!!! It is already known that the government promised 1000sq yards in the residential plots for every acre they surrender. The government is to give additional 200 square yard of land in the “commercial zone” of the new Andhra Pradesh capital.

According to inside Sources Party MLAs and Ministers are pressurizing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to increase the offer from 1,000 square yard to 1,200 square yard per acre, and that the enhanced 200 square yard plot should be given in the “commercial zone” of the city.
On the other hand report are coming in that farmers of the region are demanding onetime settlement of 2 lakh rupees additional to the government incentives. There are 21000 farmers in around 17 villages.
