Prabhakar who has been playing a key role in rebutting the opposition charges even on political matters on Saturday said agriculture loans mean crop loans in banking parleys. If farmers make losses, government will come forward to rescue them by making payment of the loss.
But if they buy tractors and other equipments on the loans taken from the banks, the government will not compensate them. Stating that there are around 32 lakh farmer families in AP, he ridiculed Jagan’s claim that there are Rs 87,000 crore worth agriculture loans in the State and one crore families of farmers.
