Rajahmundry (East Godavari): Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd (RGTIL) held an awareness camp on gas pipeline safety for Revenue officials across the district at the Sub-Collector’s office here on Tuesday.

Addressing the officials, RGTIL General Manager G Satya Srinivas explained the pipeline safety measures in a power-point presentation. Officials, including Joint Collector R Muthyala Raju, Sub-Collector V Vijayarama Raju and MROs from ten mandals attended.

The intent of the awareness programme was to explain the route of RGTIL East West gas pipeline passing through 34 villages in 10 mandals covering four revenue divisions in the district.

The RGTIL officials urged the public to cooperate in ensuring 30 metre width of pipeline. Anyone can contact RGTIL toll-free number 1800 103 3399 to give information or to find out details of the pipeline. They answered questions posed by the officials.
