Students of the Computer Science Department of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science will organise the annual IT fest ‘Blitzkrieg 2014’ on December 30. The State level event will be conducted by the Students Association of Computer Science (SACS).

College principal MVN Padma Rao said that the annual event was being organised from 2006. “Nine competitions for computer science students will be held to test their skills as part of the event this year. There will be spot registration for participants. Students of about 70 colleges are expected to participate in the event.
The competitions to be held as part of the event include paper presentation, poster presentation, coding and decoding, fashion show, photography, personality, treasure hunt, dance and technical quiz,'' he said. Later, a poster of ‘Blitzkrieg 2014’ was released. Computer Science Department head K Sridhar, college correspondent V Babu Rao and student committee members were present at the news conference.
