Vishakhapatnam: A huge encounter took place near the Andhra-Odisha border. Open firing occurred between Police and Maoists near the Chitra Konda Cutoff area.
According inside sources, 5 Maoists were killed in the encounter. On the other hand Andhra Grey Hounds and Odisha SOT police forces participated in the firing. Vishaka rural is now on High alert. The complete details on the incident are yet to be known.
