Araku MP Kothapalle Geetha was down with swine flu and was undergoing treatment in a local corporate hospital. Geetha has been suffering from severe cold, body pain and fever and got herself admitted to the hospital last week. Her swab was sent for testing and the report came on Saturday evening confirming flu.

The doctors immediately moved her to a special ward and began treatment. “Her condition is stable and improving,” the doctors told media personnel on Monday morning. Local MP and State BJP president K Haribabu and District Collector N Yuvaraj visited the hospital and enquired about her health.
