Andhra Pradesh PRC decision on February 9?

The cabinet sub committee on PRC of Andhra Pradesh is likely to submit its report on February 9 and a decision on fitment of the government employees is likely soon.

Sources in the Chief Minister and Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu offices told reporters that a decision on the fitment of AP employees is likely within a few days after the PRC report is submitted.

There has been anxiety and anguish among the employees of Government of Andhra Pradesh in the wake of PRC fitment of 43% announced by the Telangana Government. The Government employees (around 7 lakh) of Andhra Pradesh are already getting an interim relief of 27%.

It seems that when the AP NGO leaders led by their president Mularikrishna called on Chandrababu Naidu yesterday he had negated any huge raise in the fitment and PRC. "I am not happy with your performance and the state is undergoing a huge financial crisis," Naidu had told him.

Many NGO leaders say that they might get something like 39% fitment, but the government might freeze all the arrears and future earnings and credit it to their PF accounts.
