Including IAS and IPS officers, about 25 All India Service Officers (AIS) are awaiting their postings for around a month. 25 officers have not been given postings by the AP government after final allotment of AIS officers. Seven IAS officers and 10 IPS officers are waiting since a month for their posting which has been delayed due to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s busy schedule.

The AP general administration department informed that the IAS officers awaiting postings are Sridhar, Satyanarayana, Papireddy, Vikas Raj, Usha Kumari, D. Srinivasulu and Rajat Kumar. All other IAS officers except Srinivasulu were allotted to AP from Telangana.

According to the AP officials, IAS officers Usha Kumari and Rajat Kumar are likely to go back to Telangana government as they opted for Telangana government and the Centre may accept their request.

Meanwhile, in the final allotment, 10 IPS officers were allotted to AP from Telangana but were not given any post. The government is paying salaries to the officers without giving any post.
