More farmers to get loan waiver benefit: Minister

Eluru: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is making efforts to come to the rescue of farmers in spite of the State facing a deficit budget by implementing loan waiver duly revising the regulations, said Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao here on Sunday.
Speaking to the media after attending the engagement function of Eluru MP Maganti Babu’s daughter, the Minister stated that the government already revised the guidelines to extend the loan waiver to farmers after they experienced hardship in getting the benefit.
Rao said only 35,000 farmers had received benefit of the loan waiver.
He promised to ensure more farmers get the benefit of loan waiver.
