In his first tweet since joining the social media Jagan on Thursday morning attacked TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as expected. "Who is responsible for the murders of Farmers? CBN who cheated or a Govt that failed or a Society which did not question enough?" he posted.

Why was YSRC Chief and once tech savvy campaigner against TDP keeping away from Twitter till now is the Moot question raised in political quarters of AP.

Only on Wednesday YS Jagan Mohan Reddy dated the micro-blogging site Twitter with a Twitter handle @ysjagan. The explanation given by his aides is that Jagan had kept away from day to day political developments till now.

So Now Jagan wants to interact with people, invite ideas and suggestions from the public. The things are sure to hot up in the digital domain with YS Jagan’s Twitter foray.

Jagan feels that he has to play a larger and direct role to outwit the heavy to bitter campaign launched against him day in and day out by his opponents. "Daily at NTR bhavan four to five leaders are throwing mud on Jagan." said a Jagan follower at the Lotus Pond.

Jagan admirers had opened several Faceook accounts and the young face had displayed and attracted huge following on the social media. Now, he would be able to reach out to fans, party workers, supporters, general public and sympathizers by joining Twitter. "More so he can directly respond, almost instantly and word by word," they say.

Whatever one calls Jagan, one should give credit to him for his outreach programs - Odarpu yatra, Deekshas, rallies, dharnas etc in the hinterland of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. It is this move of Jagan that drove Chandrababu also to jump into the street act.

His political managers say that YS Jagan has been declining requests to join the Twitter in view of self built fire walls. But now after the mudslinging attacks by Lokesh and the kind he wanted to update himself on Twitter. "The spark however came on the day India won the cricket match against Pakistan and when he wanted to instantly respond he had no tools," it is learnt.
