YSRCP chief and leader of opposition leader in AP, YS Jaganmohan Reddy\'s comments the just presented AP budget-2-15-16 are the outcome of his ignorance and impatience to read the budget documents, says AP govt\'s Communications adviser Dr Parakala Prabhakar.

YSRCP chief and leader of opposition leader in AP, YS Jaganmohan Reddy's comments the just presented AP budget-2-15-16 are the outcome of his ignorance and impatience to read the budget documents, says AP govt's Communications adviser Dr Parakala Prabhakar.

'Has Jagan even bothered to open the budget books and read what is in there or talking in air just to criticize the TDP government,' he asked.

In a scathing attack on the Opposition leader, Prabhakar said finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has done real wonder and magic by hiking the plan budget by 30%, hiking capital expenditure by 39% and reducing non-plan revenue expenditure from Rs.79,000 to 73,000 crore.

Jagan should know the maverick exercise of Yanamala from steering the state budget from a deficit of Rs.18,000 crore with a minus 2071 crore tax revenue and also a Rs.150000 crore non plan expenditure cut, he reasoned.

'It is a herculean task of Yanamala and the budget is a stepping stone for creation of sunrise and swarnandhra state and the deficits are well within the FRBM levels of 3 %,' he said.

Parakala hailed the budget as one with a focus of 'wealth creation' as it had identified 40 growth engines and allocated necessary funds for their momentum.

He also termed it wrong to compare it with the Telangana budget as both had been under different scenarios, platforms and also on the different development agendas , he said

Parakala said the AP budget, the ninth budget presented by Yanamala Ramakrishnu was a mirror to the fiscal inequalities and hurdles faced by the state after the bifurcation and also the absence of adequate financial support from the centre.
