In an unprecedented move, the YSRC president and leader of Opposition in AP assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called on the Governor ESL Narasimhan along with his MLAs on Thursday to complain against the manner in which the ruling party and the Speaker were conducting the Assembly.

Marshals’ forcibly evicted eight suspended YSRCP MLAs from the AP Assembly and many of them were not even given an opportunity to address the press at the Media point. The Marshals lifted the MLAs and dumped them near the gates; YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was dumped on the road near gate no 2. Condemning the act, the YSRCP leaders voiced serious concern on the way the Assembly was functioning. "The Government has the right to suspend the members from the house but it does not have any right to send us away from the media point," Chevireddy said.


Meanwhile, the suspended YSRCP members also staged a Dharna near Gandhi status in the premises of Assembly. “We brought to the notice of the Governor all the anti-democratic actions of the TDP Government explaining how the YSRCP members were suspended from the Assembly, the abusive and highly unparliamentary words being used by the ruling party members along with how TDP members provoked us to side track from the real issues, " the YSRCP leaders said after meeting the Governor.
