Down in the dumps, Botsa to join YSRCP?

The talk in political circles that former PCC chief and strong Kapu leader Botsa Satyanarayana is likely to join the YSR Congress Party has gained much ground today.

If reports are to be believed, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is believed to have sought suggestions from his Vizianagaram district leaders about admitting Botsa into the party during yesterday's meeting.

Botsa has been steadily distancing himself from the Congress party ever since the party's humiliating defeat in the recent assembly elections. There were reports that Botsa decided to join the BJP.

It is learnt that several leaders have expressed stiff opposition to Botsa's entry into the party, while others including Vizianagaram district YSRCP president Kolagatla Veerabhadra Rao and Bobbili MLA Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao told Jagan that they have to consult other senior leaders.

Many say that the talks between YSRCP and Botsa has already taken place and YS Jagan has to take a final call on it.

Several Vizianagaram leaders observe that Botsa's entry might not strengthen the party, on the other hand YSRCP would be occupied with his family members.
