YS Jagan criticizes Chandrababu Naidu over Pattiseema project Alleging that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is getting Rs.300 Cr as reward in Pattiseema project, Jagan Mohan Reddy averred that the Government is putting the useful project like Polavaram in cold storage.

On his visit to the Prakasam Barrage on Thursday, Congress party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the engineers at the Prakasam Barrage informed that the water storage capacity is 3 TMC and there is no possibility of water from Godavari River to be directed and stored in Prakasam Barrage.


Jagan Mohan Reddy said that both Krishna and Godavari that are flooded during the rainy season and goes into sea van be stored through Polavaram project only and not through Pattiseema Project as Polavaram project can store 124 TMC of water.


Even after the floods, through Polavaram project - 24 TMC of water can be released through left canal and 80 TMC of water through right canal stated YS Jagan.


Alleging that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is getting Rs.300 Cr as reward in Pattiseema project, Jagan Mohan Reddy averred that the Government is putting the useful project like Polavaram in cold storage. He states that as once the Pattiseema project is finished, 35 TMC of water release will be stopped by the Karnataka and Maharashtra governments yet Chandrababu is going ahead with the Project for benefiting the contractors.
