New Delhi: National Skill Development Council (NSDC) said that the youth in the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are far ahead in the country but the governments have to give momentum to train the youth across all the sectors in order to make the country and the youth globally competitive.

Head of Partnership & State Alliance Jaikant Singh said ‘’we have identified 200-plus training agencies and institutes to train the youth and 100 programmes have been already funded. He said, “We fund, we shall work with the state government to identify the pockets, the geographies, the clusters and the skill-sets in the respective sectors.

And we will mobilize training partners to train the youth in those particular sectors for skills, ”, he said. NSDC is tasked to facilitate in imparting skills for the youth for which it coordinates with state governments, training institutes and industries across all the sectors in order to make the youth of India fully qualified by 2022.
