Disclosing the loss, the Deputy Chief Minister Chinarajappa at Anantapur on Friday said that government would grant an ex-gratia of Rs.4 lakhs to each of the deceased families’. The hail storm had struck havoc in Anantapur district.
The deputy CM said a decision on compensation for the crop loss will be announced soon after the return of Chandrababu Naidu from his foreign tour.
