AP Govt sets May 15 deadline for Land pooling

For the first phase construction of AP Capital city, a deadline of May 15 has been fixed by the AP Government to complete the land pooling first phase.

The AP Cabinet in its meeting on Wednesday, discussed land pooling and instructed officials that the complete procedure of making annual payments to the farmers who gave consent letters need to be finished before the deadline.

With already agreements have been completed for 8,000 acres with the farmers, agreements for 2, 000 to 3, 000 acres are being made. CRDA officials are trying to speed up the process to complete the land pooling first phase in time with the arrival of plans of construction of AP Capital from Singapore.

Also, loan waiver to the farmers is also to be completed in the AP Capital region by the Government.
