Farmers are facing untold hardships in the district as the bankers failed to credit the loan waiver amounts into their accounts on some pretext or other.During the time of elections in 2014, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu promised them that their loans would be waived once the TDP comes to power.

But after becoming the Chief Minister, he did nothing in the regard and bank and government officials remained indifferent. Although they are running around the banks and the other government offices several times, nothing seems to be going in their favour. The bank officials told the farmers that their documents were not in order and the details have not been uploaded online.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, some of the farmers lamented that the bank and the government officials were not sincere in ensuring that they receive the amounts. They said that though they submitted their passbooks with all the relevant details connected with their land, the bank officials were careless and negligent in feeding the data online. As a result, they were denied their loan waiver amounts. They said that the Aadhaar card details were also submitted.
