Speaking to The Hans India, Tirupati divisional postal superintendent T A V Sarma said the TTD had given a green signal last week to the postal department to extend issue of Seegradarshan tickets to all its 2,400 computerised post offices in the two states in a phased manner, following the talks between TTD authorities and postal department.
In Chittoor district, the tickets will be issued in 10 more post offices including Puttur, Piler, Valmikipuram, Satyavedu and Nagari, Sarma said adding that with the extension of Seegradarshan tickets issue to 256 more post offices, people in all the districts in the two Telugu speaking states can have this facility. TTD introduced advance booking of SED tickets on line in August 2014.
