Chandrababu: Farmers’ issues will be resolved by river-linking

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Friday participated in the ‘Janmabhoomi – Maa Vooru’ programme in Prakasam district where he stated that the farmers problems will be resolved by river-linking.

The Chief Minister once again stated that the Polavaram project and Pattiseema lift irrigation scheme would be completed within the specified duration.

Stating that the state would be at ease if 1,000 tmc of 3,000 tmc of water flowing into the ocean will be utilized, Chandrababu promised to resolve the farmers’ issues in the state. Inspecting the dried citrus fruit trees in the Silamvaripalle village, Chandrababu said that steps would be taken to encourage agro-based industries and make agriculture profitable.
