He conducted review meeting at R&B guest house in Rajahmundry and came down heavily on the officials regarding the progress of Pushkaram works. Addressing press conference later, Naidu expressed severe dissatisfaction over the progress of works and lamented the failure of delivery as the State government released adequate funds.


He recalled on how the government had overcome the wrath of Hudhud cyclone. He also expressed his discontent over the execution of Godavari Harathi which was held on Wednesday on the banks of river Godavari. He said that the coordination committee, execution committee along with ministers’ committee would be constituted to make Pushkaram a grand success. He called upon the authorities to execute works in coordinated manner and added that he would monitor the progress by taking real time information from the ground.
