Strengthening the argument, in a diabolic act, a father killed a 6-day-old baby girl by strangulation at Kanakadinne village in Kurnool district. The unrepentant father confessed his grisly act adding that he had also killed an earlier child. Ramanjaneyulu and Maheswaramma got married eight years ago. They had three girl children in a row.
After expecting a baby boy, Ramanjaneyulu was disappointed with the third girl. He killed the baby and buried the body. This incident never came to light. When his wife gave birth to fourth girl consecutively, he became furious. He cruelly strangulated the six-day-old and threw her in a well.
When mother of the child, Maheswaramma, came to know about this gruesome act, she informed her in-laws. After a resisted interrogation, he admitted the dreadful act. Shockingly, he revealed that he had killed his third baby also in the same way.Kamsa in Bhagavatam, who was told in a prophecy that the eighth child of his sister would kill him, had killed seven of his nephews mercilessly. However, it was a story. In reality, this demonic father killed his own infant daughters feeling a burden on him.
