In three separate incidents at the Ghats at Gedellanka in Devipatnam mandal, Sakhinetipalli mandal and Mummidivaram mandal, six persons drowned at Pushkar ghats in AP. Two pilgrims were run over by a lorry in Komeripalem of Denduluru mandal, two were killed in a road accident at Neeladriraopet in Gandepalli, one person died at Vullamparru village in Palakole mandal in West Godavari district and a woman was run over by a water tanker at Kovvuru.
In Telangana, a family of three was killed when a lorry hit their motorcycle near Nirmal in Adilabad district and one person died when he fell down from an RTC bus near Kothagudem.
