In a major blow to YSRCP in Nellore district, its president Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy resigned from his post.
Prasanna Kumar Reddy announced his resignation to the president post at Koti on Sunday morning and faxed his resignation letter to YSRCP general secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy.
Later, speaking to the media, Prasanna Kumar Reddy said that he resigned due to some personal reasons. However, he said that he will remain in the party and support YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy till the end.
The buzz in the party is that Prasanna is upset with other leaders in the district for not keeping him in the loop on any developments.
YS Jagan reportedly reprimanded Prasanna Kumar Reddy for internal bickering in the Nellore district politics.
