Court Shocks YSRCP; Jagan\'s Indefinite Fast Postponed, YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy\'s proposed indefinite deeksha slated for September 26 in Guntur to demand special status for AP has been postponed as the TDP government has denied permission.

YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's proposed indefinite deeksha slated for September 26 in Guntur to demand special status for AP has been postponed as the TDP government has denied permission.
The YSRCP on Friday said that the deeksha will be held once the High Court gives its verdict.

Addressing a press conference, YSRCP MLA P Ramachandra Reddy said ‘We have moved the court and we have confidence that our plea will be considered favorably and the fast will begin once the verdict is pronounced.’

"Chief Minister Chandrababu’s remarks on YS Jagan's deeksha are highly objectionable and it shows that the Government is not inclined towards getting the special status," he said.

The YSRCP had filed a house motion petition in the court. The court has directed them to come in the regular way.

"Denying permission to the indefinite fast is an act of irresponsibility as people have the right to express their dissent," the YSRCP leader added.
