A first year intermediate student of a private college in Vijayawada allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the college building on Friday.
According to reports, Akhil Reddy, who was pursuing his intermediate first year course, ended his life in the evening at Nidamanuru. The student belonged to Ongole.
The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note was recovered from his possession.
The police shifted Akhil Reddy's body to Kamineni hospital for postmortem.
