YSRCP leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu stated that they have sought appointment to meet the Prime Minister to discuss the Special Status issue. APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy said that the apart from announcing special status to AP, Modi should fulfil all promises in AP Reorganisation Act. CPI state secretary Ramakrishna went onto say that if PM Modi fails to announce the special status cateegory, they would burn effigies of him on October 23.
