The villagers went in a rally to District SP office from Sanivarapupeta village. They met the SP, Bhaskar Bhushan, and submitted a memorandum to him on their demands. After that, they reached the Three-Town police station and staged the dharna.

The villagers said the brothers Lankapalli Chinta Rao and Lankapalli Sekhar had killed Tera Sanjivarao recently in the village. Seeing the son in a pool of blood, his father Tera Nageswara Rao was also died with massive heart attack, they pointed out.

After the agitation of the villagers at Government Hospital, police had arrested Sekhar and Chinta Rao in this case. However, the villagers expressed fear that their family members were also at war with them for no reason for 10 years. The accused brothers have another two brothers Lankapalli Ramesh and Jeevan and their family members were wandering in the village to create fear among villagers, the agitators alleged.

The brothers who are free had criminal history, the villagers alleged. They demanded the police to take action against the family members of the accused immediately and protect the Dalitwada area people from them. During meeting with villagers, the SP assured them of protection.
