Anantapur: Minister for Civil Supplies Paritala Sunitha on Sunday asked the revenue department officials to identify the eligible persons to receive house sites from the government by December 5. Addressing a meeting at her camp office here on Sunday, she asked the officials to prepare ‘pucca’ layouts by providing sites for a temple, a school and a community hall.

She said that the sites would be allotted before December 20 by draw of lots and distributed between December 25 and 30.
The minister said that if the government land was not available for allotting the sites to the needy people, they should be ready to purchase land at the price decided by the administration.

Roads should be laid and trees should be planted on the either side of the roads to make the surroundings green.

Sunitha stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to distribute house-sites to the poor would benefit residents of all mandals in the constituency. The minister announced that for this Sankranti bengal gram would be distributed to the FP card-holders. She warned that action would be taken against the dealers if they resorted to irregularities.

Among those present at the meeting were RDOs of Anantapur Hussain Saheb and Bala Naik (Dharmavaram) and tahsildars of all mandals in Raptadu.
