The All India Progressive Forum (AIPF) will organise its first national conference on Thursday here at Montessori Mahila Kalasala Auditorium, according to its national vice-president M Vijaya Kumar.
Vijayawada: The All India Progressive Forum (AIPF) will organise its first national conference on Thursday here at Montessori Mahila Kalasala Auditorium, according to its national vice-president M Vijaya Kumar.
Talking to the reporters here on Wednesday, Vijaya Kumar said that Dr Yugal Rayulu, national secretary of the forum, will preside over the inaugural session of the seminar on the topic ‘Threat Posed by Fundamentalism to India’s Unity.’
Former Vice-Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) K Viyanna Rao and social activist Smita Pansare will be the key-note speakers.
Eminent people from all walks of the society including doctors, engineers, scientists, poets, artists and journalists are the active members in the forum, he said. About 300 delegates from 14 States will participate in the national conference.
