AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday conducted a video conference with all district collectors and higher officials in Vijayawada. The conference was mainly held to discuss the government's plans on Janmabhoomi and Maa Ooru programmes beginning from next year.
Chandrababu reportedly stressed on shifting AP secretariat and various government departments to Vijayawada by June 2016. A 6 lakh feet tall building is being constructed to temporarily house the secretariat.
The chief minister also said that 12,42,000 ration cards will be sanctioned within the coming two months and set a target of laying 5 km road everyday in the coming 90 days.
