CM to launch LED bulb distribution today

APTransco Superintending Engineer G Bhargava Ramudu told newsmen here on Monday that distribution of LED bulbs to domestic power consumers would be taken up in the district from January 17 to February 17.
About 100 official teams would be set up for the purpose. The distribution schedule would be announced well in advance in rural and urban areas to enable power consumers to get two LED bulbs each as part of the energy conservation initiative, the SE said.
