The day temperatures in the State are steadily raising, with Anantapur, Kurnool and Nandyal recording the day’s highest of 36 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday.

Hyderabad: The day temperatures in the State are steadily raising, with Anantapur, Kurnool and Nandyal recording the day’s highest of 36 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday.

The other maximum temperatures recorded in the State were: Nandigama 35, Jangamaheswarapuram, Tuni, Vijayawada, Tirupati 34 each, Kakinada, Nellore, Visakhapatnam Airport, Kadapa 33 each, Narsapur, Ongole 32 each, Bapatla, Kalingapatnam, Kavali, Machilipatnam 31 each and Visakhapatnam 30.

The night temperatures appreciably fell at one or two places in the coastal districts. They markedly fell at one or two places in Rayalaseema and were appreciably below normal at one or two places in Seema and coastal AP. The lowest minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius was recorded in Arogyavaram.
