Tirupati: The YSR Congress district president and MLA K Narayanaswamy demanded registration of a case under SC/ST Atrocities Act against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for hurting the feelings of Dalits by making insulting comments on people belonging to Scheduled Castes.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Narayanaswamy said that Naidu at a meeting held recently in Vijayawada made disparaging remarks against the SC community. “It is not proper on the part of a person holding such a high position demeaning the SCs,’’ he said, reiterating his demand for taking action against the Chief Minister under the SC/ST Atrocities Act.
