Bid to rob ATM

Vizianagaram: Police foiled bid to loot a bank ATM at VT Agraharam in Vizianagaram on Sunday.

Some unidentified rogues tried to loot the ATM machine, which is located nearby court in the early hours of Sunday. But they could not break the machine as the police beat staff arrived at the location. On listening to the sound of police vehicle, the gang members escaped from the spot.

Sub-Inspector K Srinivas told that they were searching for the gang and suspecting that habitual offenders might have participated in the attempt.
