A construction worker, who hailed from Srikakulam district, was electrocuted on Sunday while working at a building in Kovur mandal headquarters. Srikanth (20) came in contact with high tension power line when he was doing centring work.

Workers staged a protest for compensation to the family who lost an earning member. Police registered a case and took up investigation.
