Inquiry panel to visit AU today
A three-member committee headed by former Principal Secretary of State Higher Education Ashithosh Mishra is coming to Andhra University on Thursday to inquire into allegations levelled against former Vice-Chancellor Prof GSN Raju after the completion of his term on February 4 by some organisations.

Visakhapatnam: A three-member committee headed by former Principal Secretary of State Higher Education Ashithosh Mishra is coming to Andhra University on Thursday to inquire into allegations levelled against former Vice-Chancellor Prof GSN Raju after the completion of his term on February 4 by some organisations.
Responding to the allegations covered in the media, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced the appointment of a committee which include Principal Secretary of State Higher Education Das, Vice-Chairman of State Higher Education Council Prof Vijay Prakash and AU teacher Prof M Prasada Rao.
The committee during its three-day stay is likely to hold a public hearing to receive representations. AU Registrar Prof V Umamaheswara Rao has confirmed the arrival of the committee on Thursday and necessary arrangements were made for the committee.
Meanwhile, expert academicians on condition of anonymity felt that the committee must take former Vice-Chancellor Prof Koneru Ramakrishna Rao, former Rector Prof A Prasanna Kumar and former Registrars into confidence to discuss about the decisions taken on policy matters before
