Speaking to The Hans India, he said, “Over four hundred people will lose their houses in Undavalli and Tadepalli. Poor, who couldn’t purchase a site in Vijayawada, purchased sites in Tadepalli. With the proposed highway, they are a worried lot.

If the area will become State capital, the land value will increase but here they are losing houses,” he added. The people in the area are meeting the local representatives for help and some even approached courts. Meanwhile, the revenue officials have completed the identification the houses to be removed for the Express Highway and are preparing to give notices.
