New Delhi: AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and TDP MPs Avanti Srinivas, T Narasimham and C M Ramesh here on Thursday lashed out at YSRCP for playing “dirty politics” with the sole aim of stalling development in the State. The campaign started by the YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, against the capital of late was yet another indication of his mala fide intent, they said.

Talking to the media, they said it was unfortunate that even Mudragada Padmanabham, former Minister and Kapu leader, had come under the influence of Jagan and continuing his blackmail in the name of Kapus. Mudragada was neither the sole leader of the Kapus in the State nor their lone voice, they said.

Referring to the efforts of the government to better the lot of Kapus, they said Mudragada was not helping the cause of the community by playing into the hands of Jagan. It was clear that the violence during Mudragada’s previous indefinite fast of ‘three to four days’ at Tuni was orchestrated by the YSRCP leaders, they added.
