YSRCP MLA Roja continues protest despite falling unconscious
YSR Congress MLA Roja who has been protesting since 9 AM on Saturday in front of the AP Assembly fell unconscious at the Gandhi Statue on the Assembly premises.
YSR Congress MLA Roja who has been protesting since 9 AM on Saturday in front of the AP Assembly fell unconscious at the Gandhi Statue on the Assembly premises.
However, the MLA continued her protest along with other party legislators. While efforts are being made to shift Roja to the hospital, a doctor was called to examine her. The doctor stated that the sugar levels of Roja have come down and her blood pressure has gone up, further adding that she needs to be hospitalised.
With Roja not willing to discontinue her protest, an Ambulance has been kept ready. Meanwhile, TDP legislator Anita and few YSRCP legislators along with Roja have been issued notices by Privilege Committee chairman Surya Rao, to appear before the panel at the committee meeting at 3 pm on Saturday. The AP Assembly, on the other hand, has been adjourned to Monday.
